Homemade BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
1 cup Mott’s® Applesauce Apple
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp garlic cloves, minced
1½ cups ketchup
¼ cup molasses
⅓ cup brown sugar
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
2 tsp chili powder
1½ tbsp yellow mustard

Instructions
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic. Cook until translucent.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cook on low until thickened, about 30 minutes.
Blend in a blender until smooth.
Serve as a condiment.
